[VASC18R28R29] ITM Auckland SuperSprint Pukekohe 2-4 Nov
The Supercars circus crosses the pond to a strange location known locally as "Un-Zed" and it's Pukekohe Raceway for the penultimate round/event on the calendar.
With the two championship protagonists that is Scott McLaughlin and Shane van Gisbergen being local lads, there is more than championship points on the line with local bragging rights and the Jason Richards Memorial Trophy up for grabs too. With the mixed bag fortunes for the aforementioned drivers and their teams DJR Team Penske and Triple Eight alongside the team Erebus respectively over the recent past, can they turn the tide or will Brad Jones Racing who usually go very well here can change their fortunes? Anyway, shall be good viewing and a great way to celebrate the immortal spirit of one of the best guys who competed in V8 Supercars; Jason John Richards. Personally, fingers crossed for the BJR team to bring the JR Trophy back home. Hope you'll like the weekend Jase from the great racetrack above the skies. This is for you Jase! |

Should be a good race weekend with decent support categories ,unlike recent Australian Rounds. F5000 and F4 plus NZ V8s.

Expect big things from Richie this weekend, Brighty finished 5th and 7th in that car in 2017 so with a home track incentive Richie should be near the pointy end.

Just waiting for Frosty to let his driving do the talking...
He is gonna end up in a team worse than PRA and he is gonna rage and blame other people and it won't end well. |

This time certain bulls**t is really starting to grind my gears. They cut 2 laps off the F5000 race, saved a whole 2 minute 40 seconds. But the gap between the last support race finishing and the Supercars race starting is 45 minutes!! What the hell are they going to do for 45 minutes?? Bet they'll have some bogan trying to sing, motorbikes doing rolling burnouts and stoppies up and down the front straight, and all manner of other bulls**t WHICH ISN"T RACING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I want to see motorcycle stunts I'll go to a motorcycle show, if I want to see someone trying to sing I'll watch Australia's Got No Talent. I"m watching this cos I WANT TO SEE CAR RACING!!!!!!!! Getting really sick of this **** from Supercars, they really need to get their act together on multiple fronts.
