My New Kart
I have found myself a Kart
here are some pics of it http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...80_Kart201.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...80_Kart206.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...80_Kart204.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...80_Kart203.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...80_Kart202.jpg It needs a clean up here and there but its an awesome piece of kit It is an Arrow AX9 B Max chassis running a 125cc Rotax engine. I have picked it up at a good price and im very happy about it. the best thing is I will be picking it up tomorrow morning Not sure when I will be able to get on track with it , but it will be soon , Im waiting for my licence to return from the AKA and Im fitting a restrictor to the exhaust because I have to complete 6 meetings with the restrictor on before I can take it off (Not sure if I am going to yet , I may elect to stay in restricted class as I feel there isnt a huge amount of difference , maybe 1 second per lap at my local track) all in all I am ery happy and cant wait to get my hands on it |

Apologies if this is considered rude, but how much did you pay for it?

And it's got a "CC Racing" engine in it. I think Marcus slept in it last night, lol. Cheers |

Have always admired the Arrow chassis, have you seen their Owners/Set-up Manual, it's on-line and full of good information for any brand kart. Happy Motoring.

Thanks jjordan
Took it out for my first run yesterday but sadly an engine problem developed , seems that because it has a brand new clutch in it , whomever did it didnt do the flywheel up tight enough and it worked loose. and of course we didnt have the right tool to fix it , so we did the best we could with what we had and tried again only for it to last 2 laps before it came off again. pack it away we are done Oh well its a fairly easy fix but a pain when your at the track and cant fix it Better luck next time |

Well done. That was a great first race "back". I'd love to have another bash at karting. I started off in 100cc and moved to 125cc gearbox. My plan is to get a 250 formula E (or whatever its called these days) at some stage in the future.
