2019 Bubba Burger Sports Car Grand Prix @ Long Beach with ketchup and extra pickles
Decided to make a race thread as I was reviewing the weekend schedule.
Aforementioned Schedule: Clickity Weather: Looks wonderful Timing: seanyb505 preferred Link that isn't blocked at seanyb505 work Watching: - NBCSN 4:30 EDT in North America - imsa.tv internationally via london via vpn via vpn service. Bit of a truncated weekend, and only 19 cars appears to be entered. Practice 1 through qualifying all today. As the first session draws to a close, the top six prototypes have a fastest lap faster than last year pole time. All prototypes are faster than the fastest 2018 Practice 1 time. Has anyone ever tried a Bubba Burger? I've always just made my own patties with various seasonings. I actually recently noticed them for the first time in a freezer section I never stop at and I contemplated buying a pack. Here's to a good weekend! |

Thank you for the race thread!
I like Bubba burgers, they are convenient and pretty good, although scratch-made is preferred. The Bubbas work well for an impromptu BBQ. |

I gotta admit that I liked the title to this thread. And since there's already some food talk in this thread (race is sponsored by a brand of pre-made frozen hamburgers), I've never had a Bubba burger. I just get fast food ones when I'm in the mood for one.

Porsche edges Vette .... Really beautiful images but I'd have preferred a different order.

Csatroneves was blazing. Nasr significantly faster than the field and Castroneves significantly faster than Nasr.
All of which might mean nothing tomorrow afternoon ..... |

Exactly what he said, good to have in the freezer just in case. And good for larger quantity cooking, surprisingly still good even well done. And actually good turkey burger, think they hide beef in there somewhere. Prefer them to take to the track, bring frozen and acts as own ice in the cooler.

Thaaat is a fast lap for a sportscar, nevermind the weathertech series. Pole in 2008 was 1:11.330, also by penske.

Great to see Porsche factory liveries back. I love all of the GTLM traditional liveries. Hope BMW stays with 2 white cars all year too.
Even 1 safety car period will be a disappointment. Should be a clean race this time. In DPI, Acura and Mazda are trying to break long losing streaks. Corvette has the longest losing streak in GTLM right now. Ford has one going too though. |

That is impressive for the much heavier Acura today. Starting up front probably matters more here than most places. I'm going to have to watch the race on delay so I'm not going to be thread checking Saturday.

It should be noted for those of you who haven't read it or heard it yet that Jordan Taylor plans on running a full stint in the WTR Cadillac, even though he had his appendix removed only a few days ago.
WTR have Kamui Kobayashi on loan from TMG's WEC team if he's needed, though. |

Bleh
Another FCY just when the 55 restarts. They didn't leave him much time to get going again. |
