There is a lot of interesting stuff there.
Like Besnard doing well for once. Wilson and Longhurst likewise. Lowndes and Junior Johnson not doing as well as expected. And Seton once again nowhere. At his nominated test track as well! |

What is missing from that report, though, is the weather conditions for the session - 12 seconds off lap record time.....

I think it proves how talented Max Wilson is. He did drive in the CART World Series last year remember! (And he's a former F1 test driver)
Can't believe how far Seton is down. I find that surprising. And Ambrose is proving with every lap that he is a championship contender this year. He'll probably be the only Ford contender, apart from Lowndes, if he has luck that is. |

Remember the days when Seton was unbeatable at PI? BTW- I think he tests at Winton these days... as does TWR. Something about more tight, stop-go track? Also, would it be easier on the tyres??

Doesn't matter where any of them have tested, today was *wet* - look at the times - 12 seconds off lap record pace in qualifying.
IN the morning practice session - 10 seconds off the pace, only the second morning session were they back on the pace - ie dry track. The Seton, for one, was in 23rd1.9 secs behind Skaife. IN the wet - nearly another second slower - says more about the car and wet as well as the driver IMHO |

Pfftttt... shoot, I'd have trouble buying any form of Nokia phone new. Basically my current one's knackered, but I have an option on my sisters, which has hardly been used. But to be honest, I don't think I'd waste my time on anything other than a Nokia.
Is this a motorsport forum? |

Well I looked this up in the bastion of all things V8 Supercar, the 2002 Media Guide, and it says one track.
