ABBSPORT have taken out the first round of the year, the Adelaide 500, with a comfortable margin over B.O.R.I.N.G. and Club 27 Racing.

Hard Charger Award
Here lies an award for the most improved team each round, an award to aspire to for those inhabiting the lower regions of the table, as it means you've now got a decent shot at the top rankings.


Biggest Loser Award
This award is best avoided. It commemorates the team(s) which fail to realise that the best course of action when in a hole is to stop digging.

B.O.R.I.N.G are quite surprised with this result to be honest.
Richo was at his accumulating best, that is why he is employed
But Mad Max had a ripper meet, mostly spurred by our coup of securing Rubins Barrichello as his masseuse for the weekend
Unfortuantly Frosty (or Grate as the team like to call him) is skating on thin ice (please pardon the pun). He will be up for review following the NZ round, so the testing session at the Melbourne GP is crucial to his survival.

Maybe for the Top Ten. I think it'll be moderately difficult to automate it (like the rest of the results), but I'll have a look tonight anyway.

Actually, you know what? It's been a bloody long day at work, I don't know if I can do this press release stuff. Lets just say that I was at the track all weekend (in real life) and as a Holden man I was absolutly thrilled with Jamies effort! As a young guy who failed in motorsport myself due to lack of funds and faith, I am absolutly stoked for Jamie! I hope we see more Jamie's, Courtney's, Frosty's, Will Davison's, Marshall's, Luff's, Fernandez's, Holdsworth's, Canto's Coulthard's, Gurr's & Owen's up the front real soon!
