What model cars are you getting lately or in the future...?

Ok I haven't purchased any this year due to the fact I'm still waiting for about ten classic 1:18 models for a few years now and it's really ****ing me off, anyway as I noticed GPLs are having more American motorsport cars finaly, such as Champ Car's which IMO are the best looking open wheel cars (long with the Grand Prix masters cars) I just had to ask for Bourdais' 2005 championship winning Newman/Haas car, what are you getting in the future, well have in mind? haha.

Edit:- Damn I just realised I posted this in the sub forum so could one of the the mods move it, cheers.

I remember seeing a Richard Burns model with him on the roof of his car with Robert Reid on the podium for Rally GB.

I collect die-cast Ferrari F1's in 1:43. From 1990 to now it's complete. I finally got my hands on a Minichamps Ferrari F300 "Tower Wing" Eddie Irvine (LE 3333pcs) and MS' and RB's F2005 in 1:43 are on order.

I also like to build F1 Ferrari's myself. I recently bought a Tamiya 1:12 312T4 and 312T and a 1:20 F2001. I have built the 312's before but they were destroyed while moving.

Other recent purchases are a lot of Tameo 1:43 kits:
Ferrari 641 USA GP (1990), F92A S.African GP, F93A Italian GP, 412T2 Canadian GP (Alesi's only win, 1995) and an F2003GA Spanish GP. And the masterpiece; a Ferrari 312T in 1:43 with full detail. It consists of about 300 pieces and when built, it should look like this:

Not gonna be bored this winter!

Minichamps have just brought out a road going rs200 in blue - should really wait a while as I've spent a fair whack this month already (houses are expensive things to run ). Chances of actually waiting? Slim to zero

1937 Auto Union Streamliner
1970 Ferrari 512S

The Streamliner is a nice model.

Saw a full size replica at Goodwood FOS and it looked stunning.

Hello,

I'm looking forward to getting the Spark Works Zytek LMP1 and possibly one of their Group C Lancia LC2's. I'm also planning on the Ixo 1982 Le Mans winning Porsche 956. I have made hundreds of white metal and resin 1/43 scale kits and bigger plastic ones in my time but the last year has been dominated by my return to slot car racing. Great fun.

Nick

Recently bought a few more BTCC models from Minichamps and Onyx.

I have posted a thread ont his forum before with my full list, but cant find it now lol. It could do with being updated for those that might be interested

Anyway, finally bought a Minchamps Volvo 850 estate, 94 Lammers. A 98 Rustad Laguna, a 98, Gravett, Accord. A 99 Blair, Vectra, and the 98 Matt Neal, Primera.

Nearly come to a completion now with the BTCC models, got atleast one car from each team of each of the seasons Onyx made them. Only rare and expensive cars needed, such as the 95 BMW (goldeneye) 96 BMW 320i, 95 Mondeo (works) and the other 95 Mondeo's (all privateer) Could do with an Ecurie Ecosse Cavalier too.

Just found my old list, take a look.

My 1:18 1991 Schuamcher Benetton finally arrived from TSF1 today! All I'm waiting for now is the 1991 Mansell Willaims with Senna on the back at the British GP.

Although I only seriously collect 1:43 American cars (anybody seen a 1959 Pontiac?) I couldn't resist buying a Trofeu Mk1 Escort Mexico in Daytona Yellow - just like the 1:1 scale one I had!
