What paper is in you printer?
My choice is Perma Jet Oyster (271) or Fotospeed High White Smooth, RC Lustre, Natural Soft Texture, DW Photo FB, RC gloss or Lustre in either A3 or A4. The draw back of the Fotospeed (if it is one) is you must do test prints and get them profiled by Fotospeed to get the best results. But they are excellent papers and inks.

Tetenal Premium Fine Art Glossy - 290g. It is a superb paper and the profiles are available for most printers. Not cheap, but Warehouse Express often have it on a 3 for 2 offer.

I'm a cheapskate when it comes to paper.
I use photo printasia from ilford. 2880 dpi. I'm starting to wish my Dad didn't get me a lexmark printer for my last birthday, the damed ink costs about as much as the printer. |

Thanks
Anyway, back to the topic, I use my brothers printer, so it's whatever he's got in there. Or failing that, he works in Jessops, so I can get photos done on the cheap, and lenses, and flashes, and stuff... |

staff discount is about the only benefit to working for Jessops!
What printers do you guys use? I've heard good things about Epson's 1290 and 2100, but haven't researched enough to know whether the extra on the 2100 is worth it. |
