Ambrose is way down the field after qualifying. JPM is in a good position though. I cant figure out why Logano has struggled so much this year he looked good last year

Logano said the COT is completely different to anything he has driven before and has changed a lot in its development. He'll get up to speed, just takes time.
Anyway - AJ qualifies, awesome. Shame Mayfield didn't. |

Logano needs time to adapt to the car. Dario and AJ Allmendinger did too. Dario started to get there, then went back to IRL. AJ is really getting the hang of it too. Logano will get there. |

Big brother Busch dominates.
Ambrose's crew man screws race up for most people. Will Montoya ever get the hang of NASCAR,doubt it. We are now halfway. |

Joey is 18...not very many people "jump" in ANY cup car no matter the experience and does well right away, even AJ and Dario, whom had little experience in stockcars. Dario drove for a crap team and AJ a young team. Logano has one of the best organizations and will do fine (see i am agreeing with you). yea...another Busch wins. |

It will not be Bristol.Half Mile Track.
As far as Montoya. In my humble opinion will not qualify for Chase and finish between 15/25 in points.Another open wheeler failure.Hope I am wrong as he was the only F1 driver to show any interest in Monaco Historics in 06 when I assume he had other things on his mind. |

What's the problem with Dale Jnr?
I know he has loads of stockcar talent but results don't show this. Is it the CoT he can't get to grips with or did the Theresa/buyout problems affect him more than we thought. He always seems to fade towards the end and his pitstops are poor - he never makes up ground and you'll never see him pit in 3rd or 4th and leave in 1st or 2nd place. Why? Is it his crew chief and poor decisions? Re the CoT I think Nascar has shot itself in the foot. Atlanta had very little 20 car drafts except for the first lap or two after a restart. I think back to the days before CoT and the racing was much closer and the spectacle far better. If Nascar is worried about attendances the answer is obvious - the CoT stinks. |

Montoya seemed to really struggle on the restarts - he just went backwards every time the green flag was thrown.
I'm becoming more and more convinced that Dale Jr's problem is crewchief related - either Dale is giving him duff info on what the car is doing, or Eury Jnr is interpreting it wrong. It seems that Dale can run well at the start and finish of a race, but he always goes way off pace in the middle. "Re the CoT I think Nascar has shot itself in the foot. Atlanta had very little 20 car drafts except for the first lap or two after a restart. I think back to the days before CoT and the racing was much closer and the spectacle far better. I know people will concentrate on Ambrose's wheel and the subsequent yellow as being the main cause of poor racing, but as far as I could see that just meant that you had five or ten cars fighting for the Lucky Dog, as opposed to fighting for 15th, or whatever it was. |

Jr is not that good and been over hyped due to his father.Look at actual Stats. He has good car from best team and he cannot make it.It's going to be a long downward slide but as long as he sells 50% of all NASCAR Tat at least it will be slow.
