Who deserves to replace Marcos Ambrose at SBR?
So just who should replace Marcos Ambrose at SBR?
The queue of willing pilots would be a mile long, but seriously, who do you think should get the seat? |

I don't think anyone "should" get the seat, that is entirely up to SBR who they choose. As to who I would like to see and who I think would be a likely candidate would be frosty.

Why have you only put Ford drivers in choices GTR. Word is that if Lowndes does not get it a driver from the red side is on the wanted list.

I would love to see Paul Radisich get this seat, however I think it his highly unlikely.
I think it would be great to see what he can do in a championship winning car, and I think he would deserve a good ride. He has proven with DJR that he is capable of winning if given the right equipment. |

wouldn't a driver's performance for this season have a lot of weight on the matter though? it's alright to think that a guy deserves the drive NOW, but what if they have a shocker of a season this year? their chances of getting the gig would definitely diminish then, so i think it's WAY too early to tell

It is more likely than not that the candidate for this seat is already chosen... so the poll becomes a flight of fancy... but a valid gauge of the poster's opinions nonetheless....

I have been told there is one chosen but if he is not available one is on the wanted list. And he is not on your list GTR.

I think Frosty has served his apprenticeship and *deserves* the seat but in saying that.......FORD don't muff this one put Lowndes there.

But whoever wins the championship next year will have a hollow feeling givenb the best driver is not running
I would prefer someone like Jean Alesi |

One has to wonder if Lowndes had known of Marcos leaving the series in 2006, might he have held off at FPR for one more year and tried to get into SBR?
Not saying that 888 are not capable of winning, but surely most drivers would like a steer of Ambrose's Falcon. |

I think Steven Richards would do well at SBR , he has a good track record and comunicates well with the engineers .

I love it! The Thexton camp is in the top 3.
Here's hoping SBR are listening |

I have a nasty streak in me!! - here at work I suggested with the straightest of expressions that Mark Skaife was being considered as a replacement at SBR and a group of Blue Oval supporters nearly threw up!!!!!

Love or hate him, who would say Skaife in an SBR Falcon would not be a championship threat?

Luffy was doing well at the end of last year. The Stone's will coach him through this year and he'll get the #4 for '06. Last edited by KE30MAN; 6 Mar 2005 at 23:58. |

If Marcos wins this year, there will be no number one in the 2006 series, the Pirtek car will carry number 4.
And I'd like to see James Courtney driving an SBR Falcon. Or Scott Dixon. |

If your names not Luff or Winterbottom forget this seat, my tip is a vacant seat at orccon next year.
