Worst car has to be the 1990 Life - it never came even near pre-qualification.
Worst driver is a bit more tricky, I'd have to go for Giovanni Lavaggi, the worst pay-driver ever bar none. |

Giovanna Amanti worst driver (not just beacuse she was a woman, she just got the drive because she was kidnapped at some point in her past, fell in love with the kidnapper, then i think she also went out with the austrian rat. and brabam wanted some lire to pay for the team she failed to qualify the car as did one D Hill..)
The Andrea Moda car, Jesus Moreno and Mcarthy to a lesser extent must have had the biggest gahoonas on the planet at the time.... Last edited by chrisrb2002; 26 Jun 2001 at 22:12. |

You can't say Mazzacane is the worst in the last decade!!!
What about LAVAGGI, pay-driver extraordinaire, or Taki Inoue... |

For me, the worst driver was Jean-Denis Deletraz, on his Pacific trip during 1995. He forced FIA to made a ban for newcomers of smaller teams (because that failed to debut in F1 Katsumi Yamamoto and Oliver Gavin, and also Hideki Noda can't race in the Forti of Roberto Moreno) and also putted the 107% rule.
Mazzacane was the worst Argentinian driver on this decade on F1, but there were many drivers worse than him. Ricardo Rosset and Taki Inoue are two of these drivers. About Lavaggi I know he wasn't marvelous in F1, but he does very well in the FIA SCC in his personal GLV Racing. He won some races and helped Argentinian drivers like Filiberti or the same Mazzacane racing alongside him on his team. About the worst teams, there are various, but I remark Andrea Moda because it was a disastrous project, and Life because this car can't made a entire lap when the engine or other part of the car blown and forced the driver to go to the pits. Poor Giacomelli! |

Worst Car: Andrea Moda, or maybe Life
Worst Driver: Mazzacane. Sadly, he just was no good. I'm sure he's a nice bloke, but he just didn't cut the F1 mustard. In a way, I feel sorry for the bloke. |

It has to be a competition between the life, or the '97 Lola. Worst driver? possibly Inoue, Mazzacane, Rosset, McCarthy. So many are hard to judge because these are all in what would be candidates for worst car.

Here's a little statistic. In 263 races since its creating in 1980. The Minardi F1 team has a Big whopping drum roll pls....28POINTS!!!!!!! That's the rate of 0.1points per race. So ok, I was wrong, they don't suck, that's just sad. The others had the grace to pull out after a few races (see lola) because they figured out that embarassing themselves every race (Check Minardi) is a bad thing. However, i think Minardi actually enjoys that so..... Shut ur mouth all you Minardi fans about how great the minardi team is. 0.1 points a race is SAD SAD SAD SAD SAD. Yeah, I'm done. What u looking at? |

Tarso Marques in 1996 especially, and the worst car HAS to be the 97' Lola wots that i hear? u havent heard of it? well it failed to qualify (in the pre-qualifying session) for the 97' australian grand prix - with get this, a time that was 10 seconds SLOWER than the leader!!! p.s i didnt read the posts above - so im really just repeating wot was said - sorry oh yeah, the 97' lola hadnt even been in a wind tunnel!!! it was literally drawn, copied and made. Calling PoweredByHonda!
Tarquini drove for AGS in '89/'90. He didn't pre-qualify in it 18 times in an AGS and didn't qualify 13 times. Last edited by LucaBadoer; 27 Jun 2001 at 18:09. |

HONDA: YOu crack me up. HAHAHAHAHHA Nice stats on the minardi's. but let's just leave the poor blokes alone, eh? It's bad enough they have to sit through each race and not be able to watch their team until the 20th or so lap when the camera's focus in on Marques spinning off or Alonso's car blowing up.....

This is easy to do.
Worst car is Andrea Moda. Worst driver is Claudio Langes. Most DNPQs without ever Qualifying: Claudio Langes(It) in 1990 with 14. Or you can have Perry McCarthy. |

PoweredByHonda, You are meaning Jack Brabham, who won 3 WDC (1959-1960-1966), and the only driver to win a championship in his own built car : Brabham-Honda (1966) 14 wins, 13 poles and 12 fastest laps, this aussie was a master. there 2 others Brabham : David Brabham (mentioned by Radisichrox): who drove from 1990 to 1994; having 30 gps with 26 starts with best finish being 10th, and best grid position 21th. Gary Brabham : 2 gps but not pre-qualified. I can't tell you the links between the 3, but I suspect Gary and David are brothers. Maybe Peter or Murph can help us with that. |

On the subject of **** team Andrea Moda, what happens when you install the differential back to front?
And the reason why Minardi is still here unlike other "**** teams" is because they aren't **** enough- they haven't run out of money or enthusiasm. They can qualify, they can finish, and they can actually beat other teams, isn't that so Messrs Prost and Pollock? Last edited by Nicholas; 27 Jun 2001 at 22:09. |

Quino, yes I agree, Adams was hopeless. Oh, and, I don't wish to sound picky, but it 94, not 93
