Brscc Rockingham 18th July 2004

Marshals are urgently required for this meeting at Rockingham on Sunday 18th July.

I have not seen the final list of marshals yet, but I believe that it is likely to be one a post (if we are lucky)!!!

The meeting is basically a top hat type meeting.

If anyone is free, please PM me.

As minis are at Rockingham hopefully Snapper Baz will be there, we have a broom waiting with his name on. If Snapper Baz is going perhaps he could tell us which corners he expects to take photos from this will help with the allocations !!!

Ok im confused (I know it doesnt take a lot). Im down to be at the meeting and on my list it says its at Mallory this weekend, the BRSCC website says its at Mallory and the Mallory site says its got super bikes.
Is this one of those meetings that has moved venue?

Yes.

Was originally a Midland Centre meeting, but got moved quite a while back.

The Midland Centre web site still has it down as a "two dayer" (which it was originally)

Must have a word with person who looks after their site!!

Yes!
The BRSCC meeting was originally at Mallory, but was replaced by the BSB round.
The BRSCC / Classic Sport Car Club meeting moved to Rockingham. Competitor testing on Saturday, racing on Sunday.

Bad timing really, one week after the Bernie clubbie and the same weekend as the second biggest historic meeting of the year at Brands. The MSA tell us that they are curbing this problem, but in reality they are not. Sadly the competitors and others who do make it to Rockingham are the losers. Hopefully the people who planned this silliness will suffer sufficiently not to be able to try it again!

John, would you like there to be one meeting about every three weeks?

Baz, let me know if you want anything doing from there!

Baz, sorry to hear you won't be there. I'll try to let you know what happens in the Minis.
The breakfast offer stands though - how about at the next Days of Thunder (if you can tear yourself away from the Legs 11 girls!!)?

Sorry for some reason I have not had any PMs. If you have problems getting hold of John you can contact me on 01327 356037 (during the day) or 01327 857285 in the evening.

We are still short, so drivers beware, if you come off you will probably have to help push the car to a place of safety and then possibly help out flagging wherever you have come off!!!!

Bazzer, how am I going to manage!!!

How short are you excaly? Is the meeting in any danger of being cancelled, guess this is due to the fact of the meeting being moved.

The meeting will not be cancelled, although as stated before it will probably be one marshal a post.

Phoned Fay up at lunchtime and she told me there might now be enough for 1.5 per post. I hope I don't get sliced.
