Brands Hatch Indy 2013 rounds 1-2-3
the BTCC boys will have to forgot the easter eggs until later as it is race time. last year there was a car on its roof in which ITV cameras missed it but not youtubers. also 7 cars in one gravel trap last year caused by M. Jackson with his engine going bang (at least ITV cameras got that one). and for the 2nd year running we have a different man in the ITV4 box.
so last year race winners were Collard, Neal and Plato time of the three races will be in BST (reason clocks go forward this easter) are (and i have just checked the timetable) 11.47am for race 1, race 2 is at 2.17pm and the last BTCC race is at its normal time of 5.05pm. all races are due for 24 laps but as we know when the safety car comes out laps normally get added |

Support grids are looking good-great. Cold weather, possibly a bit of rain. Excited doesn't quite cut it, can't wait... |

Perhaps you could advise how many cars in each of the support races as I have heard that some of the support races would not fill half the grid at Lydden! |

Quick Comparison of last years and this years HARD cars lots of visible changes to the body work which should make it stronger compared with last years car.

yes, I notice instead of using VXR front/rear bumpers, they've gone for a standard insignia look...
anyone else think the Cole car looks like it's ride hight is far too high particularly at the front? |

No sign of the VW. Turning a wheel for the first time in free practice is always an ominous sign.

Thanks for the support race figures.
If the figures are correct the Clios are strong, but as for the rest that,s an average of 14 cars for four championships. Hopefully it can only get better, because it will be a poor advert for our premier motorsport series. |

Hoping FFord is decent racing, want this series to take off to stand up to Palmer's latest vanity project, plus the history of FFord must be protected even if they stupidly decided to put slicks and wings on it.... BTCC should be great as ever, bumper grid for this year once we get the season underway. Not convinced on Addison yet but lets give him the benefit of the doubt for a few meetings until we decide on if he's any good or not. I assume Porche money means he'll have to fill time during their processions too, hope he's up to THAT task. (Tho I heard an interview with him really saying he loves all forms of motorsport, except for Caterham racing? What's with the random slagging of one of the best examples of racing there is? ) |

Haters gona hate!
Still Team Hard delivers to the first race. Impressive to say the least! Hope for them to quiet the most of the haters. Its a helty staring grid for beeing the first race. |

And the year before was in the mid 20s. But the years before that the grids were similar to now. Maybe proper GT racing is more accessible now reflected in the strength of Brit GT.

Some of you may know already but you can follow the practice times on the BTCC mobile app. Don't know what the (S2) next to Tordoff's name means though
