Speeddemon555 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Team Halfords

Well VLR-Halfords are off to a good start in the BTCC with their privateer Peugeot 406s Coupes with Dan Eaves and Tim Harvey. Looks like Team Halfords Peugeots are getting their reliability problems straight and will be looking forward at Oulton Park.

Simply superb is all that can be said. Dan's drive to second was fantastic and those Peugeots are most definitely an improvement on last year's. GO HALFORDS!!!

Its great to see Dan Eaves going well. He deserves it after the bad car of last year.

I think the Peugeots are going reasonably well... just a touch ahead of the pace they showed towards the end of 2001.

Sadly, I think that as the year goes on, the factory-backed cars will leave them behind.

I'm not so sure they will. The weight penalties will make sure of that

Let's hope not RH... a repeat of the VLM years in 1991/2 would be nice

yeah i think the pugs will stay in touch and easily give everyone else a run for their money. VLR or VLM whatever u want to call them know what their doing, eg 91 and 92.

I'd love to see the VLR cars blow everyone else away, but I just don't see it happenning.

Watch the Brands coverage again... see how the Astras and ZRs are noticably faster? It's only down to bad luck that they didn't all finish higher up (and push the Peugeots down).

Then again, maybe VLR will stun me and keep improving the 406. Maybe it will be quick enough? And remember, speed isn't everything!
