Moose Trophy TV Times

I spent today listening to Ian Sowman doing the voice over commentary on AMG TV's production of the Moose Trophy FF1600 Races at Oulton Park.
It will be shown as a one hour show on Motors TV and a half hour show on Channel Five. The full - pre edited - version will become available on DVD in due course.
The first showing on Channel Five is a few weeks away yet, but the Motors TV version starts going out over this coming weekend.
The show is called Race & Rally UK and it airs for the first time Friday 2nd December at 19.30 GMT. There will be repeat showings over the subsequent days. Check the listings for Motors TV Sky Channel 413

I don't suppose that my Anglesey hotel room will have Motors TV and I'll miss the repeat showing with flying off on hols for two weeks from Manchester Airport on Monday morning

Looks like I'll have to buy the DVD!

I'm recording the Friday showing for Ian Sowman who DOESN'T HAVE MOTORS TV, so I will have a copy with me too.

Woo hoo! Been waiting quite a while for the date that the show ill be aired. emailed Motors TV twice asking them, and didn't reply once, but then, Motors TV is French, ain't that right Diz! Just hope they show more coverage of pre-final races, as we got about 30secs from the WHT from Sky.
Any news of the regional champs being televised?

Youngoldy - see the news of today's announcement on the website re TV coverage going forward.

Regarding the Moose, expect a reasonable amount from each race in the Motors show. We recorded commentary onto an edit covering virtually the whole of each race - this will go onto the DVD. This will be cut down to 48 minutes (excluding adverts but including interviews) for the Motors programme and 25 minutes for Five's showing in a few weeks.

You should have put that in a new post mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you make sure of it's compatbility. And you must remember to finalise a disk before you can use it on another DVD player. OR IT WON'T WORK!!!!!

I think you are very rude RR - its not a beer belly at all - its a cake belly. See the T shirt.

Anyway, just to reiterate, what a great job the telly was. Very well done Diz, great result, great telly. No disrespect to JEB, but the coverage was better due to more cameras and more informed commentary.

I suspect there is some very detailed slowmo analysis of the footage from several drivers as well.

I liked the fact that I got a mention even though I didn't even race!!

I liked the bit where Ed Moore got overtaken at knickerbrook and then went straight on to get his place back.... didn't stop at all to re join. In fact he ended up with a 4 car lead!!
