The process they describe is pretty much how all tyres are built,although high performance tyres,may use different mmaterials/angles for the belts and bead fillers,and depending on what type of racing,they are also built for specific tracks,having done a tour through a tyre factory,it really is quite amazing how they do it and what they look like before they go into the press.
