Motegi race results (spoilers)
I set a seperate thread as I was under the impression Tim Northcutt didn't want the results posted and discussed in the weekend thread as he and some otehrs haven't seen the race yet but we should have lumped it all into one but anyhow...
Castroneves wins again. 2nd in a rowm he's certainly on a mission this year and the enxt race is the event he's won twice! Anyhow I really hope we have a great battle between Penske and Ganassi this year and of course a few others, they seem to be the strongest. 1. Bah....I can't wait for tonight for the race coverage!
Wow....Castroneves is really looking strong isn't he? Who'd bet against him after his results so far this year? Could easily have won all three... |

Seem to be a lot of unfortunate accidents thus far this year....
Dana's fatal accident. A car rolling today. Franchitti running over crew members, one appeared to have his arm trapped under the car for a long time..... All doom and gloom thus far in 2006.... |

Exactly my thoughts.....
I'm sure it'll be alright.....but I feel a little uneasy about the Indycar Series at the moment, all the same. |

But most importantly...Did Helio climb the fence?!
I was at a club race (Homestead) today and missed the finish. |

Well, just watched the race repeated on TSN.
It was very nice to see such a low number of caution laps. Perhaps there were a normal amount, but rather I am getting more used to the madness of NASCAR. Otherwise, I thought the race was quite enjoyable (not a lot happened, but then that is often the nature of races). Seoigh, yes, the spider was in action, . |
