Bo’ness Hill Climb Revival 2015

The eighth Bo’ness Hill Climb Revival meeting takes place on 5th and 6th September.
It is an event primarily for pre-1973 cars, which can include a few later models.

Situated in the Kinneil Estate, east central Scotland, the track was originally used from 1932
and was included in the British Hill Climb Championship from 1947.
It closed in 1966, following sale of part of the land for housing development.

The first Revival meeting was in 2008 and the course follows a considerable part of the original route.
It has proved very popular with spectators and competitors and this year a particularly large
number of entrants is expected. Full details can be found at:

A very good event that I've done a few times. Sadly since the date changed it clashes with our holidays. Great atmosphere and cars that you rarely see!

Competitors and spectators enjoyed two fabulous of dry sunny weather at Bo’ness last weekend.
The crowd was especially large, as was the number of entries, far exceeding all previous revival events. Machinery on display was both of high quality and diverse in type, offering a chance to view cars not seen at other speed events in Scotland.

Malcolm Wishart, Lotus 41, was fastest on both days. Saturday saw Robert Bremner, AC Cobra, in second place, with Andrew Paterson, Lotus 61, third. On Sunday, William Millard, Fisher Alfa Romeo Monocoque, was second and Bremner third.

H.R.H. Prince Michael of Kent joined the event (not timed) in a Jaguar XK150.
