BTCC 2019 - Snetterton - Rounds 16, 17, 18 + testing
Max Coates will drive a HARD CC at this weeks Snetterton test, whilst Dan Kirby will share an Audi with Jake Hill.

Hopefully two days of running will turn a corner for Blundell.


Would be awkward if the team boss went faster than him though.

Rob Austin comfirmed as being back for this week's test days.

Ethan Hammerton will also be in at HARD, with Bobby Thompson & both BTC Civics not taking part.

It's only done 12 laps to be fair. Most of that will be shakedown stuff and getting back into it. Tomorrow will be a better reflection of where it really is.


Surprised with Crees being right at the sharp end in the speed traps. That VW is no slouch in a straight line.

Thats the problem when you opt to miss a year, im surprised they havent been trying to run the car in other series to keep the development up and save the team getting rusty.

Not seen that rumour.

In Feb, it was confirmed by Austin and HMS that their plans for 2019 were:
- Run a test programme with the Alfa.
- Run Alex Day in TCT with the Audi.
- Run A.N.Other in TCT with the Toyota (if someone came forward).

Or don't feel they will gain much for the amount of money it would cost. Much better to let someone else pay for the test and if the team get some good data and set up out of it, the driver hasn't spent any of his budget needlessly.

I wonder how disappointed Moffat is at the pace of the Q50. Maybe tomorrow will be more indicative. But it doesn't look great as a straight out of the box package.

I expect it will be a lot better tomorrow. Last thing they would want to do is to damage it on the 1st day of a 2 day test when there is so much to learn about it. It was so far off the pace they were probably just testing systems etc.

Alfa improved a lot with the afternoon running
