Britcar Snetterton 2nd Aug

Just to put an end to the silly rumour going around at the moment Charlotte Osborne has not been in an accident and broken her leg, where this started I do not know? Sorry folks she'll be there at Snet to give you all a good thrashing again (with respect to Cowgill/Lockie)

So who's going to be there ?

James - can we have an entry list.

Also can we have tickets this time please

This is great line-up James, potentially better than the Willhire.

Pity the Team Tigers Marcos isn't entered, but there are some very, very interesting cars and drivers here.

No doubt some teams will draft in a third driver, and I would'nt be suprised to see Nigel Greensall figuring somewhere.

James, have we got the garages for this meeting ?

With nearly 3 hours between qualifying and racing, this is the chance for all Britcar drivers who use this forum to do a bit of networking, get to know each other. You never know, you might get yourself a better drive !

I will be there marshalling, if it's half as good as the Wilhire was we should be in for a good race. Good luck Martin and Steve, have a good and safe one.

Thanks, Claire, but I'm merely the PR guy, so I'm bound to have a safe one unless Andy Rouse runs me down whilst speeding in the pit lane ! I notice that there's no Vectras entered, so there's not even the hazard of slipping on gearbox oil in the paddock !

I reckon we've got 7 potential overall winners, plus a couple of dark horses. This will be better than the Willhire.

Just to say that Peter Seldon will be racing with Eugene O'Brien (former BTCC driver) for Britcar 4 hrs at Snet, not Tim Christmas. Any other former BTCC guys racing apart from Andy Rouse and Eugene?

Mark Lemmer, Simon Harrison and Phil Bennett all are or were BTCC drivers, and Simon Graves, Richard Meins and Desmond Smail have driven in the Production class.

Matt Manderson is a front-runner in this years Sports 2000 series.
David Abbott is reigning BRSCC Fiesta champion.
Calum Lockie was British GT Champion in 2000.
Ed Pead is a current Clio front-runner (TOCA support series)
Nigel Greensall is a former BOSS F1 Champion.
Martin Parsons is a former AutoItalia Champion.
John Hammersley has won more races than you can shake a chequered flag at.

No shortage of quality here.

Snet AUG 2/3

So which 10/tenthers are coming out to play this weekend? Remember preferential flagging can be obtained if the price is right|!!!

Unfortunately, I shall not be racing this weekend. Daniels Motorsport are at Lydden with 5 cars so will miss this one. He will have 1 car out at Snet for a couple of new guys (I think) but not really possible to run a 2nd.

I'll have to check the schedule now for the next possible option but I hope to do that one, whatever it is. I am doing the 16/17 Aug Fiesta Champ rounds with them at Rockingham.

Maxx

PS. To all those taking part - have a good one

Yes, but not in those categories, although I know Steve Mole is coming out to do the Sports 2000 one hour race.
