Russell Brookes
Well, a sad loss, a true professional, for many years the go to man in terms of press for British rallying, always drive so well, and had an amazing relationship with a sponsor that gave us an iconic livery.
When you think, he was quick in the 70's, 80's and even the early 90's was still in contention for rallies and titles against far younger men. For me, up there with Higgy, Wilson, McRae and Pond as one of our greatest, I know he was not a well man recently, but this is still a sad loss. |
