firstly the TVRs at Donny looked good... esp the orange 153 car that seemed to have a bit of pace. (and btw, 154 was No.89 at LM)

one interesting point- does letting the car in as a Spa GT set a precedent? could they be entered thus for the rest of the year if they wanted? And what about the other vehicles that would fit this? Obviously they couldn't score N-GT points....

I never got to see the car standing still but it looked more bronze than orange to me. Not sure that colour scheme really worked as well as the purple ones!

agreed on the colour, it was a sort of electric sick!... a detail difference (maybe there are lots but I noticed this one) was that it's lights weren't faired in like 154(89)'s

also the TVR's windscreens appear to be held in with aluminium tabs, unlike say a Ferrari or Porsche that appeared to have a regular rubber seal..

Hi,
I went to the FIA GT at Donington today. The award for the most unlucky driver award goes to Chris Stockton, driving the Synergy TVR. He was definately in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He was minding his own business driving down the Craner Curves, when a Viper got it wrong at the top of the Curves, went off track, straight lined the corner on the grass( a mere passenger at this point), rejoining the track just as the TVR was passing by. The Viper nailed the TVR in the rear quarter and cannonballed it off into the gravel trap at the bottom of the Craner Curves. The car wasn't too badly damaged bodywork wise but the impact smashed the rear wheel and the car was out the race.

I then spoke to Chris after he climbed from the car and was walking back. I said it was a wrong place at the wrong time deal and this is what he said back " I was driving down there, then suddenly saw this think coming at me from the side , and thought "What the f##k !" Next thing I'm in the gravel ."
