HSCC Brands Hatch - Sept 10th 2006

Hi everyone,

I went to Brands on Sunday and took many fotos which I will slowly post on here.

The weather was awesome and the event was great....

Here are the first six taken in the morning of the Historic Road Sports Championship Race practice.

like the mustang and brabham shots, more interesting angle than the others. also the lola in the pits has a period feel which is cool, think its the slightly hazy and orange colour cast. maybe a lower viewpoint would have been better though, at the eyeline of the mechanic.

I, like many others here like to view the work of other photographers and artists, but I feel you have gone way over the top in posting 56 images from the same event. Could you not have put them up on a website and posted a link instead? To be honest I'm surprised none of the mods have picked up on this yet, as there have been threads on this subject before....

I have actually spent hours posting these fotos up when I could have been spending more time in bed sleeping....

I don't have time in the day.

I am not doing it for commercial gain but it's normal to watermark fotos.

I am semi-retired now and get all the work I need away from Motorsport.

I still do some work for Karting Magazine from time to time for whom most of my professional work was done.

However I spend more and more time in the USA these days which is a far less expensive country to live in and also far more positive than the UK...

I do not have a website anymore, hence the fotos posted seperately here.

Judging by the number of hits on this thread, I feel that my fotos are being enjoyed by enthusiasts like me and I have had private e-mails saying how much they have been enjoyed.

PS. I have Dial up- Narrow Band and it takes seconds for my fotos to come up as I have downsized them all.

Hi,

These are my final fotos of the meeting.

I wish to thank ( again ) those who e-mailed me privately saying how much they enjoyed them.....

I am sorry if they are so many but it was a wonderful meeting and the variety of cars present was awesome and I simply wanted to share as many as I could with you all.

Mind you if I had photographed every car present, there would have been hundreds more.......... and I did not shoot every race as I had to have some time off to eat etc.
