750 Cadwell Park - Thank You
Thank you to all the Marshals and Officials who helped us out over this weekend's Cadwell Park 750 meeting.
Everything was handled expertly, efficiently and quickly. An especial thank you to the ladies on our FIRST all ladies posts (5 and 12) today who dealt with all that went their way in the most professional way. I'm thinking we should do it again soon. Congratulations to Martin who was awarded the Formula 4 Marshal of the Day award. |

Thanks to all for making The Southern Softies feel welcome again! And thanks Dave for all your assistance in making the long trek well worth it! Home at mid night after en route snack.....
And were we lucky with the weather after earlier forecast of incessant rain? Great locost , F4 and kit cars racing especially. We'll be back next year for more 750MC & Cadwell hospitality, hopefully. The quality of the few top officials necessary for a top class meeting is an object lessons to some circuits where there are often too many 'chiefs'..... and always impressed with the speed, efficiency & expertise of the Cadwell breakdown units! |

Thanks to 750MC & Cadwell for a really great weekend, lots of opportunity for learning as a trainee (!) on Post 2 (Saturday) and 5/12 (Sunday). It's a bit of a long way from Hemel Hempstead but I'm sure we will be back at Cadwell again.
Annette p.s. hope we can get another all ladies post at some other meetings |

Thank you Dave, it was a real pleasure.
thanks for giving me 2/3 great posts. Thanks to Martin on post 10 on Saturday, and the legendary Ramsey, Nathan and the guys on 20/21 on Sunday. Certainly had to keep our wits about us, especially during the Locost oil slick! Many thanks to Andrew Palmer for the use of his caravan, and the bacon butties in the morning, a real star. thanks to Trish and Jem for all the food, yet again. I even won on the raffle on Sunday, first time ever! Although as I was, officially, the only person on post 20, questions might have been asked otherwise. Shame about the delay due to marshals cars blocking the escape road, you can't trust anybody these days! |

Ah, the legendary Ramsey on 21 - everything you want in a post chief, including a telephone extension cable. The second oil slick was particularly enjoyable, because I was getting worried that I wasn't already warm enough! Half a mile of dust sweeping soon put paid to that concern! Really impressed with the circuit itself, the view from post 2 was quite something, not necessarily improved by the addition of a stationary Locost broadside on the track with many others apparently heading straight for him! Looking forward to a return visit, sadly will probably have to wait till next year (work always gets in the way of fun)
