Even after I have read and answered a PM, the light bulb stays lit. Why is that?

The lightbulbs for PM's work on the exact same principle as for forum messages - once you have had a period of 10 minutes of total inactivity on the board, the cookies will refresh.

Well, now it goes OUT when I haven't read my mail! I think it's just .... aliens.
Anyway if I keep track of the times the mail comes in, I can see if I've read it or not by that. Or just go in and read it again if I forget. |

Liz, it isn't designed to tell you if you've got unread mail - it simply shows that new mail has arrived since you last logged in.
