My Airport Tracks
Over the last week or so, I have been using Gmaps Pedometer to create these airport tracks. I know that most of them are international airports, but they are fantasy tracks.
Here's the first couple of tracks. I will add more in time to come. Also the distances are rough. Glasgow airport, Scotland-3 miles http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=281353. Berlin, Germany-5.5 miles http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=281382. Dublin airport, Ireland-3.5 miles http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=281382. |

These were my first three so are kind of rubbish. The next ones are good though.

I like the Glaswegian one, but the reason for that may also just be that this is one of the rare airports that I've travelled through so far.
And the Dublin link is not correct: It shows the Berlin Tempelhof track as well. |

D'oh! I can't fix it now because I didn't add a bookmark. I'll just make it again in a bit.

Do you realise that the main straight for the JFK airport is more than 2 km long! Fine if you do but it does give you a 7.5 km track-very long for an airport!

I don't think it will be a huge problem given the severity of the corner before start/finish, as well as the tightness of the one following. And, if you'll recall. fhe main flat-out run at Indy for the F1 cars is 1920-metres, if I remember correctly.
