skells22 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
WTCR Race of Netherlands Round 10-11 & 12

Its time for the WTCR drivers to tackle the Zandvoort track for 3 races and there a very odd thing about this weekend's race as race 2 & 3 are on a Monday for some odd reason. (meaning I had to press record as I out on Monday, is it a Bank Holiday in Zandvoort?) Also who are the wildcards for this race?

Odd for an international series to be racing on a Monday. The BTCC used to race on bank holiday Mondays, but even just being a national series it switched to Sundays only in 2004.

Crowd figures will be huge on Monday as Verstappen and Ricciardo will do a demo.

So far Hyundais seem to be nowhere, which is good for competition.

Will be interesting to see how this BoP fares in Vila Real where (most probably) everyone except Alfas and Peugeots will go back to 60kg. Still have a feeling they were a bit harsh with the Hyundai

I can remember the European Super Touring Championship running on a Tuesday at Magny Cours and of course Andy Priaulx won the ETCC on a Thursday I think.

I was getting confused too, as I couldn't find the races until I looked at Monday!

Well, better hit them to hard once and then scale back if necessary.

Jesus Christ, what a jerk stewards...

Norbi drove in the very inside of the corner, Muller turns into him at least one time and they give Norbi a +10 place grid penalty.

The penalty after Huffs stupid move was also pathetic, but this...

IMO it was a race incident. No need to punish Michelisz.

Obviously the race stewards were easily influenced by Yvan Muller's harsh comments. Definitely everyone saw it was a race incident.

Fantastic race 2.
They only need to get Hyundai and Alfa BoP right and this would be fantastic championship.

The Hyundais are pegged back too much now indeed. The other cars seems to be balanced nicely, if they can get the Hyundais in there we're in for a stunning rest of the season. Race 2 was a blast, despite Zandvoort not being the best overtaking circuit.

Let's see why the Hyundai's are with the compensation weight being lowered.

Fully agree with Thed Bjork:
https://www.touringcars.net/2018/05/...eason-bop-test

In theory, why can't someone sandbag in winter and put some huge developments later in mid-season? I think second BoP session is must.

In general WSC and FIA should really sort this system in terms of organisation. I think we should just give them time because the concept is still young.

Agree, Hyundais were hit too much, but shouldn't change many things dramatically again, first of all because everyone will be on +60kg once again in Vila Real. Maybe -10mm of ride height would do.

Happy for Peugeot, finally the were in the mix.

Surprised by the weak pace of Cupra, to be honest

Where was the BoP hammer when Citroen was making an embarrassment of the WTCC?

Yeah, i think that -10 or -20mm will be OK for Hyundai.

And about Bjork comment, I think that there is rule that you can't develop cars during season.

https://www.touringcartimes.com/2017...neral-meeting/

I found it but this was for TCR International, no idea if they keep this rule.

Missed that.

By the way, almost article in winter on fiawtcr.com mentioned that homologations are freezed for 2 years, so seems they transferred that after all
