Not even a late race safety car could inject fun into that one, unfortunately.

Very dull. So far the worst race of the season and it wasn't just the processional nature of the race but Ferrari just aren't challenging.

Did only watch with half an eye but was there any overtaking (except for Vettel passing Gasly)?

7. I usually find this race to be fairly processional and despite low expectations i found myself enjoying it.
Nice to see changes between winter and start of the European season, Ferrari had me sratching my head, some wheel banging but ultimately clean race, SC restart, Honda on the up, Renault on the down, tight midfield... Lots to talk about and keep us busy until next race. |

This is getting very dull, unless someone can challenge the Mercedes domination it is looking like the rest are racing for Best of the rest. gave it 3

I have just watched the Barcelona parade. Now can anyone tell me when the race starts?

There are some right miserable beggars on here..... You can't blame Mercedes for Ferrari tying themselves in knots, and if Stroll and Norris hadn't tangled the tyre situation towards the end of the race could well have made life very interesting - at least for 3rd position on.......

Highlights for me but still only a 4 and two of those came from the opening lap and the safety car restart.

5. Cant get too excited about the track. The race was OK, but will not exactly live long in the memory. A few battles after the safety car livened it up.

It's Barcelona, what did anyone expect? I gave it two. Watched it live and fell asleep so I tried the highlights on C4 and fell asleep.

A glorified 3 day test. Not even qualifying produced any excitement. Happy to see the back of this circuit for GPs.

5.The entertainment was watching Ferrari shoot themselves in the foot .Also the Haas,Toro Rosso,Sainz battle.
Mercedes 6 year total domination of F1 is unprecedented and killing F1 a race at a time. |

I would never expect Barcelona to be a humdinger, but watching the Spanish Grand Prix is a whole lot better than many alternatives (I'd already mowed the lawn).
The safety car spoilt things as usual and seemed to be completely unnecessary. The so-called virtual safety car (how about calling it a safety speed limit?) would have been sufficient. I watched the C4 highlights so naturally they jumped through the safety car period but it looks like 10% of the race was lost just to clear up a couple of lightly damaged cars. |

The delay was because of the gravel spread across the circuit.

If it had just been cars stranded, particularly off track, I would imagine a VSC brings the speed of passing cars down enough to reduce the risk. In the case of items on track that require removal, a full SC is typically needed to bring the pack together, creating a gap in traffic that allows marshals to go onto the track surface safely. |

Watched the highlights and fells asleep, knew the result so 50 yards in I knoew who the winner was.
To be honest if you scrounged 1% of enjoyment from this, paid for it in any way be it live or Sky, I feel sorry for you. As you really have no idea what good can be found in the world if motorsport |

that i was able to wake up and eat an unhealthy breakfast with way too much bacon while watching a live sporting event uninterrupted instead of kids cartoons is a massive win in my books! |

Brutal race. I happened to be staying at a lodge with a couple of co workers who attend Nascar races. I had the race on while we were having breakfast before heading out to work and I never heard the end of it. They can't believe I watch F1. I was mocked the whole race....like the commentary about having to leave space for a driver to pass or face a possible penalty. They could not stop laughing!
Anyway, it was a tough morning... Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk |

To be fair NASCAR is not the all singing all dancing series of the world, passing there is almost as routine there as not passing is in F1.

5. Not the worst race, but could have been better.
