Australian Brock Parkes has signed to ride for NCR Ducati in WSBK. He will replace Juan Borja and ride alongside Giovanni Bussei.
There are now 7 Australians in WSBK racing Steve Martin has signed with Pirelli to race a Ducati to essentially test their new tyres. |

i originally thought that steve martin had signed to ride in the supersport class but this appears not to be the case according to the superbike entry list.
i wish broc the best of luck, he is a young talented rider who would have gained a lot of experience in japan last year looks like the australian sbk championship - besides shawn giles, will have a lot of young riders who are not household names racing - which is great, the new batch of young talented aussie riders are about to come through |

If you include supersports and sidecars I think there are about 15 Australians. Not too bad
