How's Graeme getting on with the preditor? Is it going to be a bit more reliable this year? We know its fast we just want to see it on the start line a bit more often!

There can't be many Pride engines on the hills this year then

I think you will find it originally went to Judd to confirm the engine mapping not for a rebuild. As to how many Pride engines are on the Hills this year, why don't you ring Neil and ask him, i'm sure he will give you an answer Dave |

Think you'll find it's now being rebuilt as he's not going to be at Loton at easter. Last edited by rescue dude; 27 Mar 2006 at 14:37. Reason: jurisprudence |

I heard a rumour that there wasn't going to be any backstabbing or bad mouthing this season. But then it is still silly season at the moment isn't it.
There is also a rumour that there are going to be other cars out on the hills this season as well as single seaters. I think that the organisers are going to include some "tintops and road cars" to allow time for the single seaters to cool down between runs. I think that they will only be doing demonstration runs because they might not be that spectacular or quick to watch but you never know it might catch on. Ben |

Nice idea though! Now what they should do is tsart all the timed runs with the Mod Prods, then the Clubmans cars, followed by the Sports Libres, then all the Single Seater Racing Cars, any historic classes and finally all the Road Going classes. This would then afford a big enough gap for the Top 12 runners to get ready. |

Comparatively speaking!
Quote:
1960: Prescott = 50.96 (Hill Record); Shelsley = 35.76 (FTD of the Year) 2005: Prescott = 37.24 (FTD of Year); Shelsley = 23.77 (Hill Record) So either the organisers are running greater numbers of entrants or the whole thing is being dragged out! |

yip i would agree, i would like more track time for the money. as for the start of this thread, yes my engine is at judd, we had lot`s of problems last year not just with the engine. Yes it did let go on the dyno due to the lifed parts being out of life, we had been told this engine was low milage but this seem`s not the case.`Damage was minimal and waiting for parts, but we will miss Loton. I hope we will have a car we can race this year but due to engine and gearbox problems we are still too far behind on chassis development to mount a outright challenge, but if i can go to the line thinking about the run not is it going to start or how much times im going to stall then this will help.

Welcome to our happy group Graeme.
It'll be good to get it reliable so your not just "testing" but competing. As for number of entries just check some of your programs Steve. I'd check mine but they're in the loft. Orders from she who must be obeyed. |

Nearly £100 for Loton at Easter! And we try to go fast which makes our value for money less, how stupid are we!!! |

The main ones are all about the same price, Prescott is £98, Gurston £90, Harewood £95
Good on Barbon for keeping it down to £80!! |
