John Watson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cadwell Park - May 8th.

We are now in possession of the Passes for the BARC meeting at Cadwell on Sunday May 8th. and are about to start the mail out.

The problem is that we could do with a few, (a lot really), more Marshals of all grades to send the passes on to.

Can you help? If so and you wish to spend a sunny Sunday in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds helping us out, please get in touch either by PM or volunteering on the Cadwell availability form on Julian's web site, www.marshals.org.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

Looking at the timetable it's going to be a fun day

http://www.barc.net/timetables/dtt200505.htm

a true caterham fest.

Worryingly there are only 11 marshals on the BARC list sent out...

John, I have made this a Hot Topic in order that it may attract a few more marshals for you.

I hope you are well,

Stephen.

Thanks Stephen, and I am in the best of health, ( for an old man).

I have had some good positive response from additional volunteers, but could do with a lot more, instead of the negative ones!

I should add that the list of Marshals sent out from BARC do not include the Marshals who volunteered via the Cadwell Park availability form, and there are certainly a lot more on our list than the 11 mentioned on BARC's list.

However, WE DO NEED MORE, as there are 21 posts to cover.

The time table is very sensible and easily workable with your expertise. Tea or Coffee to greet you at sign-on as usual.

Waiting to hear from you. John Watson

Well bodyrepairs, there is now you and me, four teddy bears, dogsbody doing two jobs, and sixty three Marshals of various trackside disciplines. So it looks much more comfortable than it did last week. BUT, it would be much better if we had another three Observers, three more Flag Marshals, and a dozen Incident/Course Marshals.
It is not too late to volunteer, we have very Marshal friendly people on the main gate, so passes can be left with them.
Around 180 entries for 8 Races, including Caterham Chaos, have got to be worth giving Cadwell a visit!!

Just so long as one of them isn't "teddy sitting", if it is I may suddenly have an urgent appointment!

I will also have a word with Mr Howarth as I would NOT be bored with just one job, indeed my aim still remains - zero jobs and fully occupied, after all I do need my afternoon nap.

Seriously though, well done John for encouraging a decent number of (willing) volunteers to help reduce my job load!!

Actually, Dogsbody, I find a well stuffed Teddy bear makes a very comfy cushion against the hard armco!!! But don't tell Mr Palmer!

That's why the Teddy bears stay in the caravan on Saturday Joyce.

Now you mention it Andrew, I didn't spot a single one all day Sunday - fair weather bears?

Bring back polars!

One was over looking Post 19 (does not like the rain) so stayed in the car and I know one more was in the pit lane. Three more where keeping an eye on the Paddock from the warmth of a caravan.
