Silverstone GP
What time do people normally get into the track? Where is the best place to watch, i only have a ticket for the outside of the track.
Cheers |

It really is essential that you get into the track by 6am on raceday if you want a prime viewing spot, and to queue at the gates (5am) if you want to be right at the front. My favoutite spot is club, but different places offer different experiences and appeal to different types of people, therefore it's very hard to suggest a place to watch the action from.

Hi WoodyTJ
I shall be there all three days too. Do you want to meet up at some point? I will be in Woodcote for Qualifying and Luffield for the race. Send me a message (you know my number) if you're interested. See you Suzy |

When I to a F3 meeting at Silverstone, i I sat in the Woodcote grandstand and saw quite alot ofthe track. (It was not the full GP track though)
I saw startfinish line, Copse (just), Bridge, Brooklands, Luffield and Woodcote. |

I will be there race day and I have a seat in Luffield. After the trauma of last year I am hoping things go a little smoother and I get to enjoy all the that the British GP has to offer. I agree you need to be there early I am lucky enough to have a parking pass so I expect to join the traffic jams around 6am. I will keep a look out for the banner, being very new to the forum and the web site how do you spot a ten tenther?

Traffic Jams ... hummmm. Are people aware that unless you have a parking ticket you have to pay for the park and ride scheme that Silverstone have organised. Apparently this is due to only one entrance being open!?
Spoonerboro ...... yehhh GP is a must have for the ten-tenths banner!!!! excited now |

I can bring the banner to Goodwood and let Spoonerboro look after it. The trouble is getting it back for the weekend following the GP...

I am only going fo the race day. I plan to stand at becketts as I have only been to Silverstone once and they used the short circuit. When do the queues start biulding up at the gates? Will all of the entrances be open?
