Super Aguri new chassis, when??
Does anyone know when Super super super Aguri will have the new chassis ??
Wasn't that impressive to see Sato fighting like a pitbull whith a prehistoric chassis ? I can't wait for him to get something better in his hands. |

It was due April, which seemed ambitious to say the least.
Now they say middle of the season. I too was impressed by Sato today, but then I always liked him. He will no doubt be much happier in his new, almost family-like team than he would have been at BAR/Honda and that can only help him. |

Apparently, San Marino comes to soon for the car to be ready, so that suggests the possibility of Spain, Europe or Monaco, although Monaco may be a tad unlikely to debut a new car, particuarly given that the team may lack running or spares.

Believe it was originally planned for San Marino as kipper said which was deemed too soon, so it will have some sortof European debut after then.

Aguri Suzuki was interviewed by Dutch TV this weekend and mentioned Silverstone for the debut of the new car.

I'd give them a few more races yet as neither driver as managed to wipe out their current chassis, although they have tried.

I can't wait for them to introduce the new chassis, it'll be interesting to see how much they improve which should be quite a lot compared to a slow four year old car.

They should leapfrog Midland easily.
Sato has been getting frighteningly close to their times, all things considered. |

2 reasons for this apparently 1) according to autosport.com honda are still racing under suspension foillowing fueltankgate and also yet to commit to entry beyond 2008 championship and beyond and unwilling to compromise any negotiation with the FIA by risking fielding an old chassis and contraveneing the all teams must build their own cars concorde agreement. 2) they are too busy sorting their own affairs out. shame. |
