Rallysprint 27 December
Have just done entry online for rallysprint. have to say fair play to carlow club for online entry system. mondello could learn a thing or two from them. look forward to taking my new car on a test drive.

had a few problems with the turbo but all looks good at the moment . 400bhp and rwd means lots of fun -ie. a drift machine.

Sounds like a handful for you. Drifting is not a good idea at the sprint tight at most corners. Hope you got plenty of spare panels for it.

funny i heard that you needed spare panels for your car after events you competed in. panels for my car may be a problems since there is only a handful of them rallycrossing. i'm sure someone will give some help on sourcing new ones, have heard that scandivnavians are very helpful .

Never have stuffed that bad car in 15 years of rallycross. More than I can say for some people. How many times did you have to reshell the last one.

suggest you get your glasses changed then tom. ones you have are obviously not working. whats story with mr coyne overtaking a wrc subaru. pity that not all drivers get third runs and others did four. totally unfair - how can they call overall results for day. also guys coming straight out of garages to top of queue. where's the fairness in that. sitting in a line for an hour going nowhere. what a joke

Dont know about results but I would say that first 2 timed runs would give it anybody who looked at results should be able to tell. But you still hadnt your new car out yet. I spent all day there giving a hand and spectating.

I would have to agree with you fidler, there was alot of waiting around. At the end of the day i sat waiting for 45 Minutes for my 3rd run before being told to go back to padock that my 2nd run time would also be my third.
To be fair the weather was getting worse and the light was deminishing, however i do have to say that the 130 Entries rule again this year was put out the window (the entry form did state that the event was limited to 130 entries) however 151? People finished the event, with a whole heap of retirements during the day did slow things down a bit. It should be quality over quantity. |

not sure to be honest, there was a guy with a clipboard going around collecting numbers for the people who were lined up.
Then again this is the 3rd year in a row that ive gotten an Estimated time. |
