Bloody shame that CAMS and AMRS are unable to co-ordinate their calendars better. Last AMRS meeting is at Wakefield Park the same weekend as the CAMS Nationals meeting.

CAMS can't schedule their own calendars - the EC meet clashes with the Sports Car Enduro at Island Magic, taking entries away from the Aus GT Championship.

CAMS seem more interested in avoiding clashes between hillclimbs and rallies rather than clashes between similar circuit events across neighbouring states. They will lose competitors if this attitude is not addressed.

Commodore Cup action will be worth the price of admission on its own.

i was out at the creek today and couldnt help but notice the absolute lack of spectators on hand. I mean seriously... there was near nobody there!!!

I know the Wakefield 500 is on this weekend but i still thought that there would of been a few poeple out there.

I was there Peddler.

Not too many people. Kind of made me think of Bahrain to be honest. But then again is was Saturday qualification, not sure what your expectations were.

I dont know about that Robert ... Crowds at the V8s, while not great are certainly acceptable ... I have to think that it may just be a lack of interest from most ... even the hard line racing fans who always talk about the merits of the other classes and categories.

You give the 500 too much credit. There would have been zero people at the 500 and at Eastern Creek.

Why not race there? Even Vesa have seen the light.

The track offers alright facilities, good racing and overtaking opportunities evidenced by todays show, accessible for the large Sydney population. Good viewing opportunities if you are prepared to move your legs a little.

The lack of shade on the various viewing mounds is of concern, especially when you are planning on running events during the November to February season, so definately some work that can be done there.

Not alot of people, but zero is a bit harsh.

I'll back you there.

The two GTP races offered alot. The Floyd pass on Morcom on the run to flag was amazing. The race 2 long duel between Floyd and Lillie was very impressive.

Waltons run in race 3 of the Saloon cars was also mighty impressive. Side by side through turn 1 and down to turn 2 holding it all the way around.

You must be joking...none turned up because outside the loyal V8 Fans who will follow them anywhere..none else wants to go to the place to watch anything else.

The Viewing is atrocious..worst permanent facility in Australia.

Total understatement..it is like a blast furnace without shade.
