Well once all of line up havve been confirmed I'll give a view. I'm also fed up of hearing about Sato, I'd like to see someone British come through and win it.

I still support Michael Bentwood, even though he'll hopefully be in F3000 next season. So I'll just go along to the F3 races and not really support anyone properly

nope i'm not gonna ''support'' anyone. i might want some drivers to do better than others but i won't support anybody. I don't know who I think will win the championship yet, but I'd like it to be somebody British or Gimmi Bruni

u haven't got nething out of me. I'm not ''supporting'' gimmi, i'll just be following him and wanting him to do wel. if u se how i support u'll know there's a difference. I won't b walking round the paddock with an italian flag with bruni on it. i couldn't support ne1 the way i support michael.
he was michael's teammate last season, so i've seen a lot of him, so that's why its him.. to me he looks to be a driver with a lot of talent who could win races next season.
as i've said before on this forum i'm not a big fan of paffett, but i would love to see a british talent come through and at the moment it looks as if it will be garry.

OK calm down!!!! gees u take it a little seriously don't u!!! i was merely asking why u liked gimmi!!!! but ne way i still think he is all hype! and paffet does come across as good, but then he didn't really have much competition last year, so maybe he won't b as good as everyone thinks!

well because nobody had really heard of him before his f3 this year, and didn't really do ne thing spectacular...so i just think maybe he isn't as great as people think. sure he may be talented but i think others are better

If Paffett goes to Jaguar F3, and Andy Priaulx goes to Manor then I think they could figure in the fight this year.

The reason everyone talks about Sato is he's so quick! His performances in the 2nd half of last year, where he was the class of the field in only his 4th year of racing (he never drove karts) were very impressive.

I agree Courtney is talented, and Gimmi Bruni is good on his day, perhaps this year he can recapture the form that made him Euro F. Renault champion in '99. As for the rest I think Paffett is overated (prove me wrong Gary), but the most interesting thing that could happen would be Lotterer (I know I've spelt that wrong) and Montiero race British F3 next year. As they were both front runners in the German and French championships respectively, they should add depth to the competition.

But I still back Takuma to be champ.

I think sensible money would be on a battle between Paffett, who no-one seems to like, and Sato. Perhaps if you're looking for a dark horse, someone like Ben Collins could be worth watching.

I can't spell his name, but what's Karthakayien doing this year?

i think karthykain is doin f. nippon this year.
i still think a lot of really talented people are being overlooked just on the basis of what happened last year. remember with a lot of team switching going on this year we will probably see a lot of suprises from people we wouldn't have thought were that good from there results last year. so my tip for the season is all the drivers that should have done better than then they actually did last year.
as for james courtney i have never really heard from him apart from now.......so i can't give an opinion!

Sato by a mile.. not sure why no one likes him, he's always come across very well - and he's very quick.

If he doesn't win it, I'll eat my hat!

Mr. Puff, I really think you should pay attention the series below F3, then you would know that ex-world Kart champion James Courtney won the British FFord Championship last year, as all our antipodean friends will tell you.

Holding the FFord thought for a minute isn't Anthony Davidson racing F3 too this year. His progress should be interesting.
