Who would make the best Drifters?
With the increasing popularity of Drifting, and with people from other types of motorsport looking to have a go, I wonder which type of competitor has the best chance of potential success in Drifting?
Will it be rally drivers, circuit racers, oval racers, or is Drifting so specialised that the competitors who come into it at the start will always be the best. |

Well NASCAR driver Chris Cook jumped to drifting easily, as did Polish circuit driver Maciej Polody who won his first event I think I bet Fabrizio Giovanardi could drift easily too

Yvan Muller would be a good drifter - he's always been very good at sideways stuff (even in FWD cars!).
I'd imagine a lot of rally drivers would be good at it - especially the Mk1 and Mk2 Escort boys |

Rally drivers i reckon. If your a circuit driver that has had a lot of practice at scandinavian flicks, your car setup might need looking at...
Im going to give it a go next season. I think it looks really good fun! And i bet its harder to do (well) than people think. |

I'd say everyone has a good chance in drifting but you'd have to have tons of practise. Some of the most established drifters from Japan are also GT racers so it works the other way round as well.
