Mallory Park 1/7/07 BARC
What a brilliant meeting. Some big grids, very close racing, especially the MX5's. Even the weather was fairly kind to us.

I agree Chris, even though i viewed it from the margins in fire 2. I thought the Caterhams put on a good show also

From Post 8 it looked more like a Rally than a Race meeting with the amount of cars visiting the grass. Well done to the BARC an absolutely cracking meeting, big grids and great racing.

Great meeting - Seeing the Caterhams and the Mazdas aorund the hairpin was pretty awesome. I do apologise to my colleagues on post for the unfortunate comment about the lack of abandoned Caterham mudguards.... you can guess what happened just as I finished speaking.

It was a bit hectic in the assembly area, with only two of us to grid up all those cars but the drivers were generally very helpful and most of them even parked themselves in the correct place without our assistance!
I was much impressed with the BMW driver who realised we couldn't see his race number on his bonnet and opened his door to show us his number. Oh, and number 44 in the MX5s - you didn't have to thank me quite so profusely at the end of the day for getting you a good pit lane start, after you'd turned up too late to take up your proper grid position. It did make my day though, even though I was just doing my job. |

Great Day and Thanks to all Officials.
Glad everyone enjoyed themselves, I certainly did, despite the odd shower. At least the weather was better than what had been forcast!
Thanks to everyone for their hard work, I know we were a bit short handed in one or two places but everyone got stuck in and got the job done. Thanks again, Fred |
