Please note... We have had unforeseen problems, Peter Moorcroft & his PC are unavailable.
So all offers of help now need to be sent to farnborough2@aol.com We have very little info at this time, as to who has offered help. So if you have, or know others that have sent offers of help can you please point them this way, thanks. |

I've taken the liberty of sticking this thread. I found it in Rallying/Rallycross so copied it to here.

From what I understand, the Photographer has minor injuries.
Two Marshals have non life-threatening but more serious injuries. Let's hope that all recover speedily. |

Take no notice of the BBC, it was three injured NOT five and one of those involved was back at the venue this afternoon, and during the prize giving this evening expressed his thanks to all that attended the scene.
From Barry Guess (Event Director) at the prize giving the other two are now in NORMAL hospital care, nothing life threatening. So good news. |

None of us like to hear about marshals being injured doing the hobby we love. Here's hoping you make a quick and full recovery.

I may be wrong, but I took the view that the sentiment was that the emergency arrangements worked well, although I would agree that it was maybe poorly worded, but given the stresses of the day I can understand that maybe "elegant turns of expression" were not considered to be so important. The important thing is that it seems that the emergency cover seems to have worked efficiently to minimise the consequences of the incident for all involved. As it says on event tickets "Motorsport is Dangerous", I guess statistically from time to time we will get reminders of this fact, and the fact that the incident involved injury rather than "on course fatality" is something to take some small comfort from surely? I just get nervous when I see the HSE get involved in things. I should stress that is .... Just My Opinion.... YMMV |

What happened? From what I head 2 marshals and a photographer got collected by someone at the flying finish on stage 1? Good to hear all involved aren't seriously hurt and are on the mend.

The award from Stowford House, they are one of the organisations that the weekend is about went to the Rescue crews and medics involved in the incident.
And knowing personally, and having worked with said 'Event co-ordinator' as part of the team on that event on a few occasions they would NOT have been words he would use! |

Good to hear that things are not too serious though. |

That's about it, as I understand it a car got a bit crossed up and being an airfield there's nowhere to hide.
