Alarming performance from Heidfeld. Minardi doing what they do best.

Considering that by now David recorded a time of 1'16"253, then Minardi are alarming close of 107% time: 1'21"591.
Indeed, Heidfeld is in a strange place, but 1.6 secs slower... |

Have I missed something, or did Messrs E Jordan, H-H Frentzen and J Trulli hit the snooze button on their alarm clock this morning?

Like I'm hopeful or anything...
For Minardi that is shocking - they usually hover around the top 10 in practice. Something tells me they were running a race set-up or something. Of course the fact that the engine SUCKS BIG TIME could be something to do with it. Phew.
As for Prost... blimey. |

After the second practice, Coulthard is first.
Mazzacane is last, Zonta 21st, Gene 20th. They've picked up their pace. Phew. |

Prost got the new evo of the Peugot (I have no bloody idea how to spell that) engine. They are only gonna use it for qulifying though.
