Announcement regarding moderators
Fellow ten tenthers;
A bit of a mixed bag of news. Bentley03 has found that his real life is intruding too much into his online life, and given that, has chosen to step down as moderator. We'll miss his presence as a staff member, but he's promised to try to drop in by and by, as time allows. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank him for his efforts here, he's been a great member of our community and staff. To balance that off, we've come to the conclusion that jhansen really ought to be a moderator instead of a host, which brings a little more responsibility to him, but really ought to be seen simply as a formalization of his status within our sportscar community; he also brings a uniquely left coast perspective, and will keep the rest of the staff on our toes when we get too far into the "diesel regs unfair" discussions... Finally, after a sabbatical, Aysedasi has come back! So long as he's been around, he's always represented the unique spirit of this board (remembering that all roads in sportscars ultimately lead to Le Mans). As such, I relinquish the unofficial title of longest-serving sportscar mod back to the person who rightfully carries it. Thank you, Bentley03; welcome to jhansen; and welcome home, Aysedasi. |

Welcome home eh? You don't know how good that sounds Paul....
I'm just disappointed that I can't share the mods chair with James for a while. Nevertheless, I feel hugely privileged and not a little humble to have the opportunity to return to the place which I have always felt really is my online 'home'. Thank you. |

Welcome back Ayse, hasnt been the same around here with having you here as a member and not as a moderator. Just like old times huh? All we need now is Fab to come back. Congratulations too Jeremy, for what its worth I think you will do a great job. Good luck!

It's great to see you back where you belong, and I know jhansen will take to 'modship' like a duck to water. Two reasons to be cheerful! |

James, you will be missed. You have done the moderator position proud. I do applaud you for keeping the proper perspective on the real world though. And I hope that you will have the odd spare moments here and there to make your presence felt at Ten Tenths. I know that I and the other members here would certainly look forward to that.
And welcome back Ayse! I guess we will not see any 'chance of rain at Le Mans' threads next year... And thank you for the promotion...I think. |

Its great to see you on board, particularly now that I've been given the opportunity to make a comeback. Its also good for me, being very Le Mans-focussed to have plenty of other more 'rounded' sportscar fans to hand as an antidote to my obsession.....
And yes, I shall be cracking down on precipitation predictors in future for sure!! |

Thank you kind sir. This forum will always need plenty of Le Mans focus.
But I'm still wondering what Paul means by my 'left coast' perspective... |

Oh NO!
Just when I thought he'd gone away, he's back, and threatening to something horrible, with an even bigger umbrella... Just because our NEW mod is from California, where it never rains... Bentley, enjoy real life, couldn't you persuade the Boss you were actually earning those online dollars? |
