gp2 Silverstone races 2016
its time for GP2 to quickly go from Red Bull ring to Silverstone and as we know we have a returning driver as Matshusia will be back in car 1 after being banned from the red bull ring races.

After that all British podium last Sunday I'm well looking forward to these two rounds!!
Rowland, Lynn and King are all in with a shout at home but the other series frontrunners will be up there with Gasly and Sirotkin looking to make a more consistent impression. |

Maybe not Lynn! P15 it seems in the amended qualifying order. Sirotkin starts from the back...
...meanwhile its France's turn for success as Nato leads Gasly for the front row. Latifi is 3rd... |

Excellent couple of races there I thought?
Perhaps the best 'round' of the series so far overall? Olly Rowland now leads the series by dint of some top early moves and managing to stay there with good strategy as his team/car is not really front running material.. |

It's been the same as it ever was in that category, certain teams hit a sweet spot and render the rest almost also rans. This has only been exacerbated by the tyre regs the guys have to deal with as well. However he hasn't been very consistent this year and Latifi has given him a damn good run. |

Latifi was quick at Silverstone but Lynn was never a factor

Yeah it was two good races. Different too as the faster guys from race 1 weren't so fast in race 2. ie. Gasly, Evans - what happened to their race 1 pace? Even Giovannazi.
But in race 2 Ghiotto found something, Marciello was faster, King didn't slip back this time. In fact a good season, now we have Rowland leading who I don't think has really been close to winning a race, but is always thereabouts top 5. How about Sirotkin? 18th and 21st. He's going to need some luck, and find some speed. His hopes of F1 might be going up in smoke with this performance so far in 2016 in the title winning car. Same with Lynn, 14th and 16th. |

It'a an exvellent season!! Arguably the best since 2006.
Sirotkin keeps throwing it at the scenery although apparently his gung-Ho countryman might have been something to do with his Sunday off? Prema have a clear edge if all goes to plan. But there's so much to talk about throughout the field down to the handful of clowns at the back. |
