It's nice to see that Volvo have come such a long way in their car design!

Actually the '85 ATCC was dominated by Jim Richards in the BMW 635 CSi, 7 wins form 10 rounds. The '86 ATCC was a close one, won narrowly by Robbie Francevic in the Volovo 240T.

Certainly did- Gianfranco Brancatelli & Thomas Lindstrom in 1985 with the Eggenberger car in the first picture (actually, before anyone points it out, it's the team's second car of Sigi Muller/Pierre Dieudonne in the photo...)

The other photo is from 1986- the cars were run by RAS Sport that year. The photo looks like it's taken at the Spa 24-hours

Like you said, great memories- the 2 British rounds of the ETCC in 85 were two of the first race meetings I ever went to. (in fact, the pic of the #11 Eggenberger car looks as if it was taken at the Silverstone TT- I must have some similar ones somewhere...)

I've got the Programme from that Silverstone meeting somewhere around. I'll see if I can find it. That was the year they got protested over the rear wing issue I think.
