Angle of throttle to inlet runners ???
Why do the runners exit the plenum at 90 degrees??
To me that must cause turbulence because the air has to flow through a fairly sharp 90 degree angle in order to exit the plenum and enter the runners. Which setup is better and provides maximum end power - when throttle body position is 90 degree against intake runners or directly against it? I have no packaging issues, so can use both ways...... |

Dave Walker did an investigation into this at Emerald on their engine dyno.
Reported in PPC magazine and their website here: http://www.emeraldm3d.com/articles/c.../post/dec2012/ Hope that helps Ben |
