I had an email sent to my website from a student who is "currently studying a BEng Tech (Hons) in Automotive Engineering, and I have undertaken a project to change an upper front suspension wishbone from a symmetrical oval tube to an aerofoil section. I was wondering if you knew what is the lowest powered single seater class that permits such a device. I know that the Formula Ford with the 1800cc Zetec engine does not allow such a feature, but I am having difficulty in locating the technical information on the particular classes." Can anyone help? |

A sprint or hillclimb car would be ok. (no rules)
or how about a normal road car thats raced? for instance, a Pug 205 front wishbone is a horrbile cast thing. weighs about 4kg and has horrible bendy rubber bushes too. so a nice aero section wishbone with rod ends would be much lighter and probs stronger to go with it. (if you make a pug 205 one, ill buy two off u!) |

HEY Doug!!! I see you found this site as well. How was your off-season? I heard that you were talking to Blueprint Racing? If you are going to Phoenix, I'll see you there. We are arriving on Wed. night for the usual. Check me out. I heard there is an opening at TriStar. I hope to see you there!
