FRC 2011 - Round 15: Petit Le Mans
It's time for the little big one. This is going to be a race of attrition with 53 cars expected to start the race on the little 2.54 mile course. The first test sessions start the week before the race on Sept 25 and 26. The 27th is a day off, before testing begins again on the 28th, with official practice sessions starting on the 29th. Qualifying is on Friday Sept 30th at 2:40 local track time, so get your entries in by then. With all the cars and all of the test sessions there is a real chance that some cars will be damaged and withdrawn before the race starts.
**Remember this is a double points round** Track Map Schedule Entry List ALMS Video ESPN3 Video Weather World Times To make things a bit simpler for me please format your entries something like this: LMP1 Pole: Race: LMP2 Pole: Race: LMPC Pole: Race: GT Pole: Race: GTE-AM Pole: Race: GTC Pole: Race: Good luck to all! |

Once again the 'throw a dart at a board and see what it hits' method comes into play.

Round 15 Results
Congrats to the round winner Deagle with 32 points! this was a double points round, but the only two people with more than 18 points were Deagle and FCP. Also car 26 was credited with the P2 pole because the 055 car did not start the race in that position and therefore gave up its pole status per FRC rules. Nobody picked the pole sitter or winner in LMPC - which shows how good of a job the PR1 team did at the weekend. Only one more round left, but we have a month to get to that! Results are posted below and as always if you see an error please let me know.

Well I think we can all admit it and congratulate fordcosworthpanoz for his win, you were a worthy opponent Should be a good fight with Badger for the runner-up spot now.
In that case I should have 20 points, right? |
