Good Luck to him...
I think anyone here would love to have that sort of budget for their passion. I hope he manages to enjoy it and I actually look forward to seeing what he does with his career. |

Probably on a bit of a no win situation, if he don't win with all that money they will be snipping behind his back saying he cant even win with all that backing and if he does win they will be saying well what do you expect. I have often thought of what would happen to myself if this happened.

Lottery win of £108m turned into a no win situation there.

It's still hard to sell it as a 'no win situation' Al - he can afford to race pretty much whatever he wants wherever he wants. "Oh no I didn't win the race, never mind - I'll just be over here counting my millions of pounds"
If it was me I'd need to be getting a very large garage to store everything in (I'm thinking 'warehouse' ). |

I think he's already said that he wants a big house in the country with a vaery big storage area for the cars he wants......got to admire a man who knows his priorities!

He'll go out there and have plenty of fun. He's done all the winning he'll ever need to do...

I was thinking about this the other day, would you carry on in a similar lifestyle to your current one or live to the amount of money you have? If the latter I'm not sure it would last so long if you didn't manage it properly.
I know £108M is a fair old wedge but I would imagine you could blow it quite easily if you started thinking about things like top level motor racing and similar such lavish expenditures. |

Most people that win vast amounts seem to come unstuck as they suddenly find new friends (that appear out of the woodwork) and think that it will last forever.
I would think it would be very difficult to keep a sound mind when you could spend a million pounds a year and don't even have to think about it ! However I would think that all of us would love to be in that position and give it a go !!!! A friend of mine won 100k on the pools back in the early 70s and used his head and built up a big business that keeps him in a grand lifestyle today, obviously this guy that's won doesn't need to do any investing and can waste at least half of it and still be OK ! |

They say money can't buy happiness, but with £108 million I'd have a damn good time testing the theory!
I think it was Tina Turner who said, when quizzed about money and happiness: "I've been poor, and I've been rich. Rich is better!" Amen. |

I think we'd all buy a huge house with a massive garage and fill it up with four wheeled fantasies/toys, but I'd also buy/build a race track!
