Autosport reports Jarno Trulli will be confirmed as a Renault driver for next year at the French Grand Prix.

Well, that leaves Webber out for sure than. Should be Webber at Williams then, partnered by Villeneuve. JPM at Mclaren, DC replacing Webber at Jaguar and Ralf in at Toyota.

Yes, Jarno fully deserves his contract after his driving in the past 12-18 months.
Surely this now means Webber is off to Williams. |

"Almost definitely" ... isn't that an oxymoron?

In tomorrow's Autosport, Frank Williams says if they decide to give Jacques a test, it will be in August or September.

Wise move by Flavio (from a managers point of view), if he had to partner MW with FA there was always the potential to affect the value/reputation of one of them.
This way they both remain the 'coming men' of F1. |

Villeneuve said he didn''t want to do a test with Williams. He said he became world champion with Frank and that Frank already knows how good Villeneuve is...

I also think that Ralf Schumacher is going to move to Toyota. DC is a good teammate for him I guess, Jaguar is also an option for DC. And maybe also Williams...
Webber has a good chance at Williams, Jagaur, and Toyota then... Webber is very important for the transfer market. |

That's funny.
Last week Villeneuve said he'd just bought new helmets and blank overalls so he could test for anyone. |

I said in another tread that Webber was Falvio's best commodity.Heres what I do know and if you check back to the Where will he be Tread you will see that my info was correct.
Renault the same (they were left out of the pole for that reason) Ferrari unchanged(an approch was made to Falvio but turned down by Webber himself) Jaguar Klein and DC Toyota Ralf and ? (Brisco to be moved to 3rd driver unless the approch to Minardi is accepted for 05.Gene likely partner) Williams Webber and ? (Anthony Davidson is front runner as Frank is impressed with his friday stuff) BAR unchanged. Unfortunatly I have no contacts with Jordan Minardi or Sauber so I don't know there. My info is Sir Frank will announce after the USGP that Webber is off there next season.Due to the clause in Webbers contract(6th or higher by end of USGP) the team need to wait. The other worst kept secert on Ralf is true as I indicated and he has signed with Toyota. This happened after the European GP. Expect announcements on both Webber and Ralf in the next 2 weeks. It's in Flav's best interests to hype Webber up - and if he goes round stirring it up saying Renault want him then all the better - all he has done is put Webber's salary up somewhere else.

Please Toyota DO NOT sign Coulthard!
The biggest waste of a good seat in F1's history's career is over. Sign a young bloke, not Mr.Isn't, Never was & Never will be. Ralf will cream him! |
