Marcus, I almost started a topic like this recently - some good points raised. I hope they CAN get an entry in 2003, but as they have been so quiet, I think the project must have been adandoned.

Do they really deserve to be there? The whole issue was a laughing stock and I was hoping it would just disappear quietly....

Hmmm. There seem to be 3 potential buyers for Arrows:
Mate****z (Red Bull), Pollock... I wonder who the third might be? Doh! |

Isn't that link above for the Phoenix group, the people behind MG Rover as opposed to the Phoenix GP team?

I don't think Phoenix have the money to buy Arrow's or enter as a 'new' team.
The guy behind it is a reasonably wealthy landowner with 'family' money, who , led by the ever resourceful Tom Walkinshaw, was looking to make a fast buck for himself and no doubt a little for TW. IMO. I think they are off licking their wounds, wondering what to do with the pile of old rubbish they paid a few million for, but is now worthless. In the end I don't thinks its a serious F1 effort, just an opportunistic move that went badly wrong. |

******. The man behind Pheonix is TW! The 'family money' man is a well known financier here in the City!! the whloe point of Phoenix GP was (IS) to avoid paying creditors...

The "Phoenix" team is as dead as a dodo. The court decided that they have no right to start cars in place of Team Prost. End of story.
