Cars for me. Never been remotely interested in bikes (despite a certain regular of this parish trying to convert me every time I see him!).

Used to marshal for cars & bikes from '69 through to about mid 70's then started to assist race teams as mechanic when not marshalling cars, so bikes had to go at the time.

That is until this year when I have been marshalling for bike trackdays and testdays in my spare time during the week alongside doing car days. Have been really impressed with the performance levels of the current breed of bikes and the skill of the riders - although they must be totally mad really!!

Also have learnt a great deal from seeing how Bike meetings are organised and this has really helped us in the manner we run car meetings now with regard to turnaround times etc.

both for me, plus plenty of karts too.

bikes are certainly different to cars, but enjoy both. WSB flagging the other week from the armco box between Woodcote and the old pitlane was excellent - would have shook hands as they passed, but a bit quick to do that really!

I added bikes after a while doing cars - any folk done it by starting with bikes and then adding cars?

Just do cars, both on the circuit and in the mud. Don't fancy bikes - there appears to be a defecit of wheels.

Both for me plus;
- Motocross
- Super X
- Gravel Rallies occasionally
- Speedway (4 wheel)

I've done a couple of kart events a few years ago but the ugly parent syndrome put most of us off and we stopped helping out.

I started with Bikes and then it was cars, but that's the nature of AMP ,bikes and cars race there. Just did round 5 of the Canadian Superbikes a couple of weeks ago and finally they are getting used to blue flags.

Just cars for me.

Am only into cars and pushbikes. As I don't ride the motorised types, they don't have the same appeal!
Did do a bike day at Combe last year which was different.

My dad was 'B' class hydroplane champion back in heaven-knows-when. I was rescue boat 'marshal' for many years.

Didn't help with tarmac, though. Had to start all over. But when we get torrential downpours at Oulton, trust me, I'm yer man!
