Cadwell Park
Anybody remember the name of the guy who was clerk of the course at Cadwell in late 70s early 80. Ex RAF type with an old Jag. Great character, drivers meetings to remember.

Frank Wright is the name of the guy you are looking for. unfortunately Frank is no longer with us. Yes Frank was certainly a character, but most of the tails I know about Frank can't be broadcast on a family forum like this. Frank & my late father in law "St. John Ron" used to have some real stand up rows but had great respect for each other.

Yes of course, Frank Wright. It may be that my memory is playing tricks on me but i am sure he had a wing on that Jag of his. He was certainly a larger than life guy . Were short of a few characters in the world today. Hope he is keeping them all in line in paddock above.
